Top Three Pregnancy Craving True Story
My next door neighbor was cooking beans and luckily she’s Nigerian. We never met before, I don’t even know that a Nigerian lives in my building. But then I can’t bear the smell of the food anymore and my stomach has not started showing even at 6 months so I had to add more clothes to make it seen.
I went straight with a nylon bag because, I don’t want it on a plate, I knocked and she opened to see tears on my eyes, oh God bless that woman that I don’t have to explain anything for her to understand. She took the nylon bag and gave me quite enough and asked me to come back if I want more.
Oh my God, that was the best food I ever tasted. I was so happy and I later told her that my tummy wasn’t that big that I added some clothes to make it seen. We laughed over it and since then, we became friends. My daughter is almost 2 years now. I even ate bread together with ogbono soup ( a local soup which is sometimes prepared with okra. It is also known as draw soup because of the manner it stretches ) at some point during my pregnancy days.
What a craving!
Wooooow! I was a victim in our first baby and I love serving her because she is indeed a queen. From okpa, tombo (palm wine, a local drink in Nigeria) and then fried rice.
In the process of looking for fried rice, I met a man that is going through the same romantic errand, so we had to encourage ourselves to go as far as pepperoni to get them what they need. Marriage is beautiful
My friend’s wife woke him up from sleep as early as 2 am, craving for unripe mangoes. Fortunately, a certain old man down their street had a mango tree in his compound and the husband was lucky enough to have the old man’s contact number. He called the man old requesting for unripe mangoes for his pregnant wife.
The man understood his predicaments and allowed him to plug some mangoes for his wife. He equally encouraged him to be strong for her.
When he got back, he met his wife crying, but she quickly dried her tears at the sight of the mangoes. She consumed at least six of the mangoes, after which she slept off.
